Diljit Dosanjh Introduces His Family During UK Concert For First Time Ever | Watch

For the first time ever, singer Diljit Dosanjh introduced his family to his fans during a concert. Currently performing across the UK as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, Diljit shared an emotional moment on stage in Manchester this past Saturday.

Diljit Introduces His Family Onstage

During the concert, Diljit bowed in front of a woman and embraced her before holding up her hand, telling the audience, “By the way, this is my mom.” His mother, visibly emotional, teared up as he hugged her again. He then introduced another woman on stage, shaking hands with her and saying, “She is my sister. My family has come here today.”

Private Family Life

Known for being private, Diljit has rarely spoken about his family. He has neither confirmed nor denied rumors surrounding his personal life. In April, The Indian Express reported that a close friend of Diljit claimed the singer-actor is married to an Indian-American woman and has a son, both of whom reportedly live in the U.S.

Ammy Virk, in a recent interview with News18 Showsha, explained Diljit’s decision to maintain privacy. “From Diljit Pajji’s point of view, it’s his private matter. It’s his family. There must be a reason he isn’t introducing them to the world. I also have a wife and daughter, and we prefer to stay out of the public eye. They should be able to move around freely without being identified as my or Diljit’s family,” said Ammy.

Upcoming Projects

Diljit will kick off the Indian leg of his tour this October after wrapping up his international performances. The tour begins at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26 and will continue in cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.

On the film front, Diljit recently confirmed his role in Border 2, joining Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The sequel will be set against the backdrop of the Battle of Longewala, with filming expected to start in November.
