A $15 million lawsuit filed this month reveals new sexual assault claims against Sean “Diddy” Combs which began back in 2006. Plaintiff LaTroya Grayson alleges that she won a radio competition in which she and her half-brother were allowed to go expense-free to New York City so they could attend one of Combs’ private parties.
It claims that only Grayson was permitted entry to the gathering and that she drank waitress-served premixed cocktails before falling ill. Later, in a hospital facility, she woke confused, without knowing what had happened, and with her belongings gone.
Citing Combs’ celebrity prominence, Grayson says she received threatening calls when she got home, deterring her from pursuing justice. She claims that she has long-lasting emotional and psychological scars from the assault, including anxiety and sadness. Her evidence consists of hospital records, party images, and contest-related paperwork.
Diddy’s attorneys have already refuted the allegations as opportunistic and baseless. They state that in her statements, Grayson reveals that she has no memory of the incidents and does not have any direct relationship with Combs. His attorney said he has confidence in the legal system, so truth will win over what they term as false accusations.
This complaint has brought more legal battles to Combs’ plate. He is now currently under investigation for further rape and abuse claims.
