Delhi Man Orders Puma Shoes From AJIO, Receives ‘Chappal’ Instead

A Delhi customer, known only as Harsh, is outraged after ordering Puma sneakers from the online retail store AJIO, only to receive a pair of slippers—not once, but twice. Harsh claimed he ordered the Puma Rs shoes last month but received “cheap yellow chappal” instead. Following the erroneous delivery, he returned the slippers and re-ordered the shoes, expecting a resolution, but was met with the same issue again.

“Last time I ordered Puma Rs Shoes and got Puma Slippers in return. After raising concern, AJIO took action and refunded my order and took away the slippers,” Harsh explained. He continued, “This time, with a heavy heart, I ordered the Puma Rs Shoes again, but guess what—Phirse chappal bhejdi AJIO walo ne!”

Harsh expressed his frustration, urging the company to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders. “I’m fed up with them. Please at least read what the customer is ordering. If you have to send slippers again and again, change the image and details of the Puma shoes to Puma slippers, so that you don’t make a fool out of your customers.”

In a post on X, Harsh revealed that he was promised a refund the first time, provided that the incorrect order was picked up and “passes a quality-check.” Three days later, in a follow-up tweet, he asked angrily, “WHAT QUALITY CHECKS DO YOU WANT TO DO ON THE WRONG PRODUCT?!”

He also noted that the sneakers he originally ordered for Rs 2,500 are now priced at Rs 4,500, and the AJIO app does not offer an option to exchange the product. “WHO WILL COMPENSATE ME FOR THIS?!”

Harsh attempted to reach out to AJIO customer support following the first “blunder,” but he still received slippers with his repeat order. Frustrated, he has decided to abandon his attempts to order the same Puma shoes until the website corrects the issue, stating he won’t check any platform other than Myntra.

As of now, AJIO, owned by Reliance Retail, has not released any statement addressing Harsh’s complaints.
