A heartwarming video of a granddad taking his grandchildren along flooded waters in an inflatable boat has made waves all over the internet. According to X user @Chai_Angelic, who shared this video, it has raked up 137.9K views and the comments are mostly positive. A grandfather can be seen tugging the inflatable boat around with his OLA electric scooter through a waterlogged complex while his grandkids make merry and giggle out loud.

Flooding in Chennai and its surroundings is caused by heavy rain from Cyclone Fengal. Heavy rain has made life so hectic, but this granddad made it an enjoyable moment. The video of the scene has gained praise on the web, with people referring to the moment as “adorable.” One of the comments said, “GenZ grandfather,” and another said, “Never thought a cyclone could be this fun.”

Watch:

Cyclone Fengal has brought southern state to a standstill with highways closed, flights delayed, and landslides reported. Pictures of flooded waters swallowing buses and other vehicles have surfaced, some of which were swept away by the forceful current. The highest rain was seen in Viluppuram with 51 cm, where widespread flooding has occurred. Here in Puducherry, 50,000 houses have been flooded, while in Thattanjavadi, more than hundred houses had water entering them with all belongings floating.
