Couple Shares Kiss At Kolkata Metro Station Unfazed By ‘Surveillance’

Following a series of videos showing couples being intimate in Delhi Metro, a similar incident has emerged from a Kolkata metro station. In the viral video, a couple is seen engaging in public affection. A woman passing by stops to ask them to stop, but the couple ignores her and continues. The video also shows an elderly man near the recorder, pointing at the couple and criticizing their actions, reportedly saying, “Viral kardo issey.” The clip was shared by Shubhangi Pandit on X, with the caption: “Kolkata Metro Station. Some citizens even refused them. But the boy and girl still did not agree. He came to know that people were recording his video.” TDG cannot independently verify the video’s authenticity.

The video has sparked anger among many social media users, calling for authorities to take action. Others have raised concerns about the ethics of filming and circulating the couple’s video without consent. One user commented, “Shows the couple’s immaturity – could have avoided unwanted attention. And discussing it for a long time is also unnecessary.”

Another wrote, “This is becoming regular. Why? Looks very, very awkward.”

A third remarked, “Seriously, what’s wrong if they are kissing each other and not disturbing anyone else? It looks like people like you have no other work than interfering in other people’s lives.”
