Chinmayi Sripaada Criticizes Twitter User Who Said Men Can’t Find ‘Virgin Girl’ to Marry

Chinmayi Sripaada criticized a Twitter user who expressed grief over not finding “virgin girls” to marry. The user, @venom1s, said that high condom sales indicate something is amiss and he won’t find a virgin girl to marry. Chinmayi posted a screenshot of the now deleted tweet saying, “Then men shouldn’t have premarital sex with women. Unless said men are having sex with goats, dogs and reptiles.”

When another user commented that she is a ‘clown’ for this response, Chinmayi reacted by pointing out that the notion that women have already experienced everything and that nothing matters for themselves when it comes to safe sex practices often dominates the mindset of men. She continued: “Anyway it looks like the incel bros think they have permanently contaminated a woman once they have sex with her.”

Chinmayi’s comments received support online, with many users criticizing the original tweet’s assumptions. One user asked, “Why is he so sure that men are not buying condoms to have sex with their own wives?” Another questioned whether the individual had an issue with people having safe, responsible sex.

Chinmayi, a prolific singer in Indian cinema since 2006, has lent her voice to several characters in recent films like Kushi, Leo, and Hi Nanna.
