Those days of UFO and alien sightings striking panic, confusion, and anxiety are gone. The past few years have seen such claims multiply to the point that stories have become frequent, the assertions so convincing that they send ‘alien conspiracy theorists’ on a frenzy while others come out as AI-generated videos, selectively edited to fuel the web’s curiosity about its might. The ‘real or fake’ debate has become a regular topic and any strange or eerie video always piques people’s curiosity and fuels discussions.

A viral recent video featured a car seemingly in pursuit of catching up with something that seemed to be floating right beside it. The video was so well-executed that almost all viewers refused to believe the video was true, and people even branded it either AI-generated or fake.

Few thought it real, though. The Daily Guardian was not able to verify the authenticity of the clip; however, the post shared by the Instagram handle ‘Worldwar_3_’ earned 146K views.

Social Media Reactions

While some laughed it off with a ‘racing for space’ situation, others entered the world of conspiracy. One of the users wrote, “Human-made from back-engineering QE craft… looks pretty but where’s the oomph, the speed, the zing… can’t an F-22 Raptor do this?”

Another raised the issue of UFOs surging all over, “How come suddenly all these so-called UFO’s or upstarts showing up… Strange. It’s all set up.”. Don’t believe this… Is all a show for a later purpose.

One user commented: “There’s a few similar cropping up worldwide,” and another pointed out that the shapes of UFOs were irregular, adding, “How does AI know that UFOs aren’t ever perfectly symmetrical??? Close but never perfect.”

This is not the first time UFOs and alien sightings have gone viral, as numerous videos in recent months have left netizens debating the reality of such phenomena. From videos of suspiciously shaped clouds to strange objects appearing on live TV broadcasts, the trend of unexplained incidents continues to capture the public’s attention.
