A Chinese rapper is being praised by netizens for his ‘very manly’ gesture, when he stopped the concert mid-way to help a woman who said she had been sexually harassed. The 21-year-old rapper, Apmozart, asked the security personnel and organizers to review the CCTV footage and ordered the doors to be shut down so that the accused cannot run away.
The incident took place during a concert at Zhejiang province of Hangzhou, as per the South China Morning Post (SCMP). A woman tried to grab the attention of the singer. Assuming she is just a fan, he handed her the microphone but what she said shocked everyone.

She claimed that she has been sexually harassed by a man. “The pervert ‘discharged’ onto my leg,” she said. She described the guy to be overweight, in grey clothes. She also mentioned his height and oily hair.
Apmozart quickly responded with the closure of doors and told his staff to check the cameras and find the accused man. He said, “Let’s go catch him.” Further, he reassured the woman and asked her to enjoy the rest of the night, telling her that the security swamps through the crowd to detain the suspect.
Was the Suspect Arrested?
The man was not identified at the concert; however, he was later arrested by the police. the officials identified him as a 25-year-old man surnamed Luo. As per the area’s Public Safety Administration Punishments Law, detention can last up to 15 days.

Netizens appreciated the singer’s quick-wittedness and sense of responsibility, many of them labelling him as ‘Captain Justice’. Others praised the woman for speaking up at the right moment.

Apmozart addressed the incident in a livestream where he praised the woman and thanked those who acted swiftly. “She was very brave. The show’s organizer and the police also did a great job,” he said.
