Bride Swap Chaos Leads to Police Station Wedding in Bihar

This is exactly what happened at a wedding in Bihar, leading the groom’s party to end up at a police station.

According to reports, the groom and his party, from Gaighat, Bihar, arrived in Dhoom Nagar, Baruraj, full of joy and excitement. They were warmly welcomed by the bride’s family with a delicious breakfast. However, during the jayamala ceremony, the groom refused to marry the bride. Just before the ceremony, the groom saw the bride’s face and claimed she was not the girl he had agreed to marry. He believed they had switched the bride with someone else.

The bride’s family remained calm throughout the situation. It was later revealed that the groom was correct. They had swapped the original bride with her younger sister. The original bride did not like the lehenga sent by her in-laws and refused to marry despite her family’s attempts to convince her. By the time the groom’s party arrived, the first bride was still refusing, so her family convinced her younger sister to take her place as the bride.

The groom called the police, who arrived and tried to calm the situation, but nothing worked. Everyone was taken to the police station. There, the SHO, Sanjeev Kumar Dubey, managed to convince everyone, including the original bride, to go ahead with the wedding. The wedding finally took place at the Santoshi Mata temple, located within the police station.
