Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented an encouraging success story of the recently held Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. While participating in a discussion on the state’s budget for 2025-26, the CM gave the information that a boatman and his family made Rs. 30 crore in 45 days. The boatman, owning 130 boats, earned an average profit of Rs. 23 lakh per boat, or Rs. 50,000-Rs. 52,000 daily.
“A family of boatmen who possessed 130 boats earned Rs. 30 crore as a whole over a period of 45 days at the time of Mahakumbh. It implies each boat earned Rs. 23 lakh over 45 days, which approximates to about Rs. 50,000-52,000 every day,” explained Yogi Adityanath.
