Bengaluru recently inaugurated its much-awaited Yellow Line in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Connecting RV Road to Bommasandra, this new route is expected to significantly improve travel in the city's busiest IT corridor. While the line's commercial operations have now started, what's drawing major attention online is its visually stunning crossover with the existing Green Line.

Viral Video of Yellow-Green Crossover

A few days after the Yellow Line began service, a remarkable video showed both the Yellow and Green Line trains crossing tracks at the same time. Captured by a drone near RV Road, the footage gives a bird's eye view of two Yellow Line trains and two Green Line Trains meeting at the RV Road interchange, the junction connecting the new Yellow Line to the Green Line.

The video was shared on X with the caption: “Waited forever for this perfect shot – Yellow and Green Lines all in one frame.”

The clip quickly became a hit online, earning praise for its perfect timing, striking visuals, and nostalgic appeal.

"Amazing shot," one user wrote. Another remarked, "stunning capture."

A nostalgic viewer shared, "I worked on the Yellow Line and I know the beauty around it." Another added, "Worth the wait! One of the best shots I've seen. The timing is perfect."

Some, however were curious about the video's authenticity, questioning how four trains appear together given the Yellow Line's 25-minute service interval. One person asked, "Looks animated. With 25-minute intervals, how is this possible?"

On August 11, the first day of its service, the Yellow Line had 52,215 passengers. According to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), this marks the highest-ever single-day boarding of almost 10.48 lakh passengers.
