Bengaluru Metro Turns Afterparty as Fans Sing ‘Ikk Kudi’ After Diljit’s Concert

The city witnessed an unforgettable night when Diljit Dosanjh’s electrifying concert left the fans buzzing, with the celebration spilling onto the metro. The Punjabi pop icon had the city energized with his performance, but it was the spontaneous singalong on the Bengaluru Metro that stole the show.

Metro Singalong to Remember

To cater for the throng, the Bengaluru Metro extended hours till midnight so that citywide fans could travel through after the concert. What has been witnessed is a moment like magic that has been captured: fans swaying and singing to Dosanjh’s Ikk Kudi, aboard the metro. Thus, this impromptu singalong brought the concerts into the heart of this city and united fans together in celebrating.

The now-viral video has gained more than two lakh views, with the crowd’s energy being infectious as they belted out the lyrics in unison. Social media users were quick to praise the moment. One user said, “This is the kind of energy we need every day,” while another added, “Bengaluru’s spirit is unmatchable, from the concert to the metro! Pure joy! ” Fans who were part of the singalong said they had never seen anything like it. “I was there on that train – the vibe was unreal, It felt like one big family enjoying the music together,” one said.

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone surprised fans by attending the concert, stunning fans. Her appearance quickly went viral as photos and videos of her enjoying the show circulated on social media.

Bollywood actors Diljit Dosanjh added to the merriment, posting a fun little Instagram video where he extended his greetings to Padukone’s skincare line. “This is the secret to my good-looking skin,” he pretended to say, bringing some laughter and applause from the crowds. The combination of good music, spontaneity, and star power marked the night, one the fans of Bengaluru shall never forget.
