The clip, shot from a high-rise balcony, shows a baraat procession on the road with attendees lighting crackers, darkening the sky. The post’s caption reads, “AQI is 999 and people are bursting crackers in Gurgaon?! What is even happening right now?”
Many commenters criticized the act, calling it irresponsible. One user mocked, “They are celebrating the 1000 mark of AQI in Gurgaon. A global feat!” Another quipped, “This feels like a scene from Chernobyl, where people enjoy obliviously amid disaster.”
