Anant-Radhika Wedding: Radhika Merchant’s Floral Jewelry Was Totally Last-Minute; Reveals Designer

Radhika Merchant has captivated everyone with her pre-wedding outfits, from the custom Versace gown in Jamnagar to the Robert Wun creation during the European cruise. However, the standout look everyone agrees on is the yellow Anamika Khanna ensemble she donned for her Haldi ceremony.

Radhika paired her custom Anamika Khanna outfit with an elaborate dupatta made of real flowers and delicate floral jewelry. She was styled by Rhea Kapoor along with celebrity stylists Shereen and Sanya Kapoor. Now, the brand behind her floral jewelry, Floral Art by Srishti, has shared exclusive details about her look with Hindustan Times.

Srishti Calcuttawala, the owner and creative force behind Floral Art, told Hindustan Times that creating the fresh floral jewelry took over six hours and was a “totally last minute” order.

“Rhea Kapoor’s team reached out to us one night before the event,” she revealed. “The event was on the 8th, and we got to know on the 7th.”

Anant-Radhika Haldi Ceremony

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Haldi ceremony took place at the Ambani family’s luxurious Mumbai home, Antilia, on July 8. Besides friends and family, Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday attended the event.

Calcuttawala’s team spent over six hours creating the fresh flower choker, necklace, earrings, hathphool, and kadhas that Radhika Merchant wore, while Rhea Kapoor’s team worked on the exquisite floral dupatta, now being hailed as the must-have bridal accessory of the season.

“The jewelry was created using Tagar Kai, Thai crown flower (rui flower), and yellow button daisies,” Calcuttawala told Hindustan Times.

A jewelry set like this from Floral Art by Srishti starts at Rs. 10,000.

Calcuttawala and her team have previously worked on the floral jewelry for Bollywood stars like Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Kiara Advani. Asked if she knew she would be styling the future Ambani bahu when Rhea Kapoor approached her, she affirmed.

“There were no NDAs,” said the Mumbai-based business owner. “During Katrina Kaif’s wedding, we had no idea we were creating jewelry for her. But this time we knew the jewelry was being designed for Radhika Merchant,” she said.
