Amazon Delivers Pressure Cooker 2 Years After Order Was Cancelled

In a strange turn of events, an X user recently revealed that he received an Amazon order he had cancelled two years ago. The user, Jay, explained in a post that he initially ordered a pressure cooker from Amazon in 2022 but decided to cancel it shortly afterward, receiving a refund. However, to his surprise, the cancelled order showed up at his door two years later, leaving him both puzzled and entertained.

“Thank you, Amazon, for delivering my order after 2 years. The cook is elated after the prolonged wait, must be a very special pressure cooker!” he tweeted. Jay had originally placed the order on October 1, 2022, and received the delivery on August 28, 2024.

Jay’s post quickly went viral, sparking a wave of reactions, with many users humorously referring to the incident as “delivered from Mars.” Some people shared their own experiences of delayed deliveries, while others took the opportunity to crack jokes.

One user commented, “Must be handcrafted by very skilled craftsmen.” Another added, “You should be happy it was custom made… to the smallest details of mining the aluminum, especially for your order.”

A third user joked, “I think your order is coming from a parallel universe, so it took 2 years to reach you.”

Another shared, “Wasn’t your order marked as cancelled?? They did a similar thing in the past with me, where they somehow lost a TV, provided a replacement order, and after a couple of months, the lost TV arrived. The courier guy said the order was COD (original order was prepaid).”

Yet another user chimed in, “It’s the most ‘prestigious’ cooker – almost a limited edition. You are lucky to have got it. I am still waiting to lay my hands on something like this.”

In response to the viral post, Amazon replied, “Hi there, we’re sorry to hear this. Kindly report this to our support team.” Jay responded, “Report what? The order was cancelled and refunded back in 2022? And delivered out of nowhere yesterday. How do I pay for it now?”
