Alia Bhatt Recycles Two-Year-Old Lehenga for Manish Malhotra’s Diwali Party

This year, however, all eyes are on Alia Bhatt and her upcycled pink lehenga!

Alia made a stylish entrance at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali Bash, choosing a sustainable route while others donned shimmering sarees and flashy outfits. The actress opted for a stunning lehenga she first showcased during her pre-wedding celebrations with Ranbir Kapoor. This two-year-old ensemble, designed by Malhotra, features approximately 180 patches of various textiles that blend traditional block prints with detailed embroidery.

The luxurious fabric includes exquisite Banarasi brocade and Kachha Resham knots, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects Alia Bhatt’s bohemian style. The blouse was equally eye-catching, designed with a modern infinity cut adorned with gold and silver embroidery. While Alia took a more laid-back approach for her mehendi ceremony, her look for the Diwali party featured her hair elegantly styled in a bun.
