Age-Reversing Millionaire Bryan Johnson ‘My Throat Burns’: Smog Strikes On India Tour

Bryan Johnson, the American entrepreneur behind the age-reversal mission, has recently narrated his miserable experience with air pollution in Mumbai. Johnson revealed on coming to the city that he still had to face discomfort despite having installed an air purifier in his hotel room and carrying an N95 mask when going outdoors. Even with precautions, my throat and eyes burn. Its a serious health situation,”he said on X (formerly Twitter).

Johnson was reacting to a comment by Indian-origin venture capitalist Debarghya Das who had observed the stark health impact of pollution in India such as watery eyes and constant sneezing. Johnson verified that those effects were correct.

Promoting “Don’t Die” and Networking in India

As part of his India tour, Johnson is promoting his book Don’t Die. During his visit, he met prominent Indian personalities, including Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and comedian Tanmay Bhat, at an exclusive event in Mumbai’s Soho House. Johnson revealed that over 1,100 people applied to attend, but only 50 were shortlisted.

A Self-Sufficient Diet During Travel

Johnson shared insights into his strict diet regime, which he adheres to even while traveling. To maintain his health, he brought every meal he would consume during his six-day stay in India. His provisions included his “longevity mix,” nut bars, peptides, pea soup, and lentils.

“A lot of people ask me about food when I travel. My first rule is simple: food is guilty until proven innocent,” Johnson explained, emphasizing the importance of dietary control in his lifestyle.

Inside Johnson’s Age-Reversal Blueprint

Bryan Johnson, the creator of the Blueprint regimen, has garnered attention for his rigorous and scientifically driven approach to slowing down the aging process. His daily routine includes waking up at 4:30 a.m., consuming a carefully calculated plant-based diet, taking over 100 supplements, and engaging in tailored exercises. He also spends millions annually on health tracking and innovative procedures, including plasma transfusions from his son to rejuvenate his body.

As the founder of Braintree Venmo, which he sold for $800 million, Johnson’s commitment to health and longevity continues to captivate audiences worldwide. His India visit has underscored both the global appeal of his lifestyle and the challenges posed by urban air pollution.
