Take the example of 66-year-old Munnalal and 57-year-old Pramila, for example. They met at the Ramlal Old Age Home in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and got married on Thursday, with the whole old age home coming together to celebrate their union. The event was full of cheer, making it an unforgettable experience. This was the first wedding to take place at the home, complete with Haldi, Mehndi, and other customary wedding rituals.
The couple took their vows at 1 pm on Thursday, and 321 senior residents of the home served as their witnesses, making the ceremony all the more warm and special.
A Beautiful Beginning
Munnalal and Pramila’s relationship started six months ago when they met at the old age home. With time, they became good friends and decided to stand by each other. Munnalal wrote to the director of the home, Shiv Prasad Sharma, expressing his desire to get married.

Pramila had lost her husband and was abandoned by her children at home, whereas Munnalal stayed there with his 90-year-old mother after his family left him. His mother has also been a complete supporter of their relationship, bringing more happiness to the occasion for the elderly inmates.
