As the audience eagerly waits to watch the biographical drama film Shakuntala Devi, the makers and cast have come up with an interesting way to promote the film. They are all set for a virtual song launch event for the film.

The event will be witnessed by media and approximately 5,000 school students from 50 cities.

A source reveals, “The makers along with the lead cast wanted to do something fun and unique with their promotional activities. Given the current situation in the country, we obviously can’t hold an event or gathering. But it was the cast members’ idea to plan a virtual song launch event with students from across the nation. The event will include some fun activities between Vidya Balan and the cast. There will be also be a maths quiz contest between Vidya and the kids.”

The film follows Shakuntala Devi’s life, who was a genius mathematician who astounded the whole world with her intelligence, by solving compound mathematical calculations within a matter of seconds. So make sure to grab some popcorn and tunein to Amazon Prime Video on 31 July to watch the film!
