Many hospitals have rejected ventilators made by AgVa Healthcare and accused the company of making cheap and substandard ventilators which disturb oxygen supplies. Meanwhile, the company has refuted all claims and said its products were cheaper and better than other companies. Professor Diwaker Vaish, owner of AgVa Healthcare, told news agency ANI, “Our ventilators are 5-10 times cheaper. Normally it costs Rs 10-15 lakh but ours is for Rs1.5lakh. International vendor nexus is very strong in this market. Will they appreciate the success of indigenous products?” Recently, a Congress leader too raised concerns on ventilators made by this company.
