Former Education Minister and Ajmer North MLA, Vasudev Devnani, has vehemently expressed his opposition to the construction of a Guest House for Telangana State and a Minority Hostel in Ajmer. Devnani declared that these projects will not be permitted to proceed.
His stance comes after Telangana Home Minister, Mohammad Mehmood Ali, visited Ajmer to gather information about the proposed Facility Center cum Rubath, the Telangana State Guest House, in the Kotra area.
In a statement, Devnani raised concerns that the district administration officials might obstruct the Telangana government’s initiative, possibly under the influence of the Congress government in Rajasthan.
Devnani criticized the lack of transparency in the district administration’s communication with local residents about the proposed constructions, emphasizing that the people of Ajmer strongly reject both projects.
He insisted that if the Congress government intends to build these structures, they should do so outside the Ajmer city limits to avoid inconvenience to the citizens. He warned that the construction of the Telangana State Guest House may lead to similar demands from other states.
