Earlier this month, the Varanasi court in the case observed and has issue a notice in a revision petition filed for seeking the registration of criminal cases which being against Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi for allegedly making controversial remarks with regards to the Gyanvapi Mosque-Kashi Vishwanath Temple Dispute.
Last month, the petition was moved by Advocate Hari Shankar Pandey, which the court dismissed while noting that no cognizable offence was shown to have been committed by Yadav and Owaisi. Against the said order, the revision petition was moved before the Court of Additional District judge Anuradha Kushwaha.
It has also been noted by the court in his petition, the revisionist in the case seeks registration of an FIR or a case against Yadav and Owaisi, wherein it is alleged for inciting the religious hatred by making ‘controversial’ remarks with regards to the structure which is found inside the Gyanvapi Mosque premises (the alleged ‘Shiva Linga’).
It being the case of him that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Owaisi, his brother, and many others who were making objectionable remarks which being against the ‘Shiva linga’ which resulted in hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
The court issued the notice to Yadav, Owaisi, and others.
Accordingly, the court listed the matter to be next heard on April 14.
