In another incident of mass shooting in the US, this time it happens inside a home during a birthday party at northern Kentucky on Saturday.
As per police officials, seven victims were at home and the police heard fired shots in Florence at about 2:50 am, announced city’s police chief Jeff Mallery.
Furthermore, the police have also identified four victims as Hayden Rybicki (20), Delaney Eary (19) and Melissa Parrett (44) and Shane Miller (20). While the other three victims are at hospital in Cincinnati. Fortunately, they are in a stable condition.
So far, the police have identified 21-year-old man Chase Garvey as the suspect. Initially, Garvey fled from the incident. But later, he was caught in a crashed vehicle with self-inflicted gun wound.
Later, the culprit was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead.
According to police, people attending birthday party knew the culprit but apparently, he wasn’t invited.
However, his motive is not yet clear.
Speaking about this incident Mallery said, I know what’s going on throughout the nation, but this is the first time that we’ve had a mass shooting in Florence…Yeah, it is very emotional. My emotions are for the victims, their families, the officers who responded, and everybody that was touched by this situation.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing and so far, there is no threat to the people.
