Indian food has garnered love from around the globe, celebrated for its diverse offerings, from comforting dal chawal to the rich flavors of kadhai paneer. Recently, American content creator Kristen Fischer, who has relocated to India, showcased her children’s favourite Indian dishes in a viral Instagram video.

In her post, Kristen reflected on the family’s culinary journey: “When we first came to India, my kids would not eat Indian food. But now, it is all they eat. They have learned to love the food of this country, and each of my kids has their own favourite dishes. There are many others they like; these are just their top favourites when I asked them. Not pictured here is my favourite, Chole Bhature, and my husband’s favourite, Masala Dosa.”

The video begins with Kristen feeding her daughter, Trinity, an aloo paratha accompanied by yogurt and salad. Next, her other daughter, Noelle, beams with delight as she enjoys a bowl of poha. The youngest, Sophia, is seen happily eating dal chawal, with some food amusingly smeared on her face.
