India secured an impressive 295-run win over Australia in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar series. Despite being bowled out for just 150 in their first innings, the Indian team, led by Jasprit Bumrah, staged a remarkable comeback. Stellar centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli helped India set a daunting target of 534. The bowlers then stepped up, dismissing Australia for 238, with exceptional performances from Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, giving India a 1-0 series lead.
Amidst the series, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela shared a heartfelt message for wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. In a conversation with Filmygyan, when asked to give a hashtag for Pant, she said, “All the best for Australia.” This comes two years after her statement in an interview about someone named “RP” waiting to meet her at a hotel lobby stirred controversy. She later accused the media of overhyping the issue.

Meanwhile, Pant made IPL history by becoming the most expensive player ever at the auction, with Lucknow Super Giants acquiring him for ₹27 crore. This marked the end of his nine-year stint with Delhi Capitals.
Reflecting on his time with the franchise, Pant wrote on Instagram, “The journey with Delhi Capitals has been nothing short of amazing. From the thrills on the field to the moments off it, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined… I’ll look forward to entertaining you whenever I take the field. Thank you for being my family and making this journey so special.”
