In response to the directives of District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit, 19 officials carried out unannounced inspections of 17 urban primary health centres and 17 Shri Annapurna Rasoi facilities operating within the Municipal Corporation area on Wednesday.

Additionally, subdivision officers and tehsildars conducted surprise inspections of 28 Shri Annapurna Rasoi centres, 24 fair price shops in rural areas, 10 community health centres, and 18 primary health centres in rural regions.

District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit stated that the inspections encompassed various services, including Out-Patient Department (OPD), In-Patient Department (IPD), human resources, labour room conditions, cleanliness, ambulance conditions, blood bank, and the Ayushman Bharat Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana.

Officials verified whether investigations under the Chief Minister’s Free Investigation Scheme were being conducted at the institutes. The hospital administration received directions to ensure cleanliness. Feedback was also collected from patients regarding the hospital’s arrangements.

In a parallel effort, a surprise inspection of 45 Shri Annapurna Kitchens was conducted. The officials underscored the significance of maintaining the quality of nutritious food and engaged with beneficiaries in the kitchens.

Actions were taken based on assessments of the food quality, seating arrangements for beneficiaries, provision of drinking water, and the attire of personnel serving the food. A comprehensive report detailing the inspections has been submitted to the district administration.

Furthermore, sub-divisional officers and tehsildars scrutinized 24 fair-price shops in rural areas. The inspection covered aspects such as stock inventory, scheme-wise stock register maintenance, and distribution of goods to consumers through the POS machine by the dealer. Investigations pertaining to slips and other crucial points were also conducted, and the inspection report has been filled and forwarded to the district administration.
