As per her, the show would render spectators "a little smarter". All eight episodes will be available to stream from Monday, July 21. Interestingly, Judy has created and produced this new show.

Judge Judy introduced Judy Justice, her new series on Amazon Freevee, after Judge Judy concluded in 2021. Judy Justice has had three seasons since it premiered in November 2021. As per the report by Parade, her new show, Justice on Trial, will be streaming on Prime Video.

Aside from producing Hot Bench, she also made $47 million per year from her show. She sold CBS the rights to her other shows for $100 million, as reported by Parade.

Opening about her hefty salary, Judy, who is a judge in reality, said she received fair compensation because show got successful due to her. “I can take Judge Judy anywhere. You can't make the show without me,” she told the firm she was employed with.

Legal Career Before Television Fame

She was a New York family court judge prior to her television debut. She earned her law degree at the New York Law School in 1965. She was a corporate attorney, per the Parade, before she left to raise her children.

She began her work as a prosecutor in family court in 1972. She was appointed by New York Mayor Ed Koch to a criminal court bench in 1982. She was allegedly bumped up to supervising judge of Manhattan in 1986.
