Vivian Wilson, Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, admits she doesn’t know how many children he actually has. This revelation comes as Ashley St. Clair fuels speculation about secretly having a child with Musk.

Meanwhile, Musk claims that transgender individuals are responsible for recent attacks on Tesla vehicles. His statement comes at the same time as a critical report about his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, gains attention.

Vivian Wilson Opens Up About Fame and Family

During an interview with Teen Vogue, Vivian Wilson shared her thoughts on recognition. “I don’t like saying that I’m famous because I want to do something more to deserve that fame,” she told Versha Sharma, the magazine’s editor-in-chief. Additionally, she confessed, “I do not actually know how many siblings I have.”

Notably, writer and comedian Ella Yurman arranged the interview. Explaining why they chose Wilson, Sharma said, “The more that we started to learn about her from watching her TikToks, or just following her online, we realized that she has a really powerful and interesting and hilarious voice and a way of cutting through the noise with humour.”

Wilson made it clear she has no interest in being associated with Musk. “I don’t give a f**k about him. I really don’t. It’s annoying that people associate me with him. I just don’t have any room to care anymore.”

Wilson on Independence and Musk’s Political Shift

Furthermore, Wilson revealed she has been financially independent since 2020. She cut all ties with Musk and criticized him for being unsupportive during her transition. Instead, she credited her mother for offering more support.

In addition, she addressed the controversy surrounding Musk’s hand gestures at a Trump event earlier this year. “Honey, we’re going to call a fig a fig, and we’re going to call a Nazi salute what it was.”

Despite everything, Wilson refuses to let negativity affect her. “People thrive off of fear. I’m not giving anyone that space in my mind.”

Moreover, she dismissed claims that she influenced Musk’s political views. “That’s not what that does to people. Him going further on the right, and I’m going to use the word ‘further’ — make sure you put ‘further’ in there — is not because of me. That’s insane.”

Teen Vogue’s Approach to the Interview

On the other hand, Versha Sharma emphasized that the article’s focus was on Wilson as an individual rather than just as Musk’s daughter. “We expected there could be some reaction, but we really wanted this story to be guided by Vivian, and also to focus on who she is, beyond just his daughter,” she explained.

The interview was conducted over Zoom, with Wilson speaking from Japan. Finally, Sharma reaffirmed the magazine’s mission. “We want to be a resource for trans youth and any other marginalized youth who feel targeted in any way.”
