US Adult Star Whitney Wright Reportedly Visits Taliban-Ruled Afghanistan

US adult movie actress Whitney Wright has just traveled to Taliban-seat Afghanistan, a nation where women’s rights have been very constrained since the militants took power in 2021.

Having over a million Instagram followers, Wright has been visiting many Muslim-majority nations. Last year she traveled to Iran, drawing criticism for her compliance with its severe women’s dress code.

On Instagram, she posted photos from her Afghan vacation including a plane from Ariana Afghan Airlines, grocery store products, and street views in Herat. Still, in every picture she was not featured. Wright did not reply to messages concerning her visit, says the Associated Press; the Taliban have yet to comment.

The Taliban has views on tourism and overseas visits.

Wanting worldwide recognition, the Taliban have been touting tourism as the number of violence in the country falls. Nevertheless, they still maintain harsh controls on women including prohibitions on work and education.

As an American citizen, Wright would usually have an Afghan visa; however, there are no Afghan diplomatic offices in the United States. Given the terrorism, crime, and poor medical facilities, the State Department discourages Americans from visiting Afghanistan.

Earlier debates about Whitney Wright’s travels would be helped along.

Last year Wright, an outspoken proponent of the Palestinian cause, visited Iran and posed next to a ripped US flag at the old American embassy in Tehran. Though Iranian officials claimed she was given a visa like any other international visitor, her visit was panned by exiled Iranians.
