According to an official alert from the University of California, Davis, three individuals were injured during the incident, which occurred at a gathering organized by a campus-affiliated group.
The university promptly issued an Aggie Alert urging students and staff to avoid the area around 14th Street and Community Park, while clarifying that there is no credible threat to the campus at this time.

Local outlet The Davis Enterprise reported that the victims were treated at the scene and later transported to the hospital. The severity of their injuries remains unknown, and fortunately, no fatalities have been confirmed. Authorities stated that the shooter fled immediately after the incident, triggering a widespread manhunt.
In response, F Street south of Covell Boulevard was shut down and traffic rerouted to ensure public safety.
