US President Donald Trump is to sign an executive order on Wednesday aimed at combating antisemitism and cracking down on non-citizen residents involved in pro-Palestinian protests. According to a White House official, the executive order will direct the Justice Department to intensify efforts in prosecuting acts of terrorism, arson, vandalism, and violence against American Jews.

The president’s order will also target non-citizen college students and resident aliens who participated in pro-Palestinian rallies, with Trump warning that those involved will face deportation. “We will find you, and we will deport you,” Trump said in the accompanying fact sheet.

Besides, Trump promised to withdraw the student visas of those who sympathize with Hamas within the college campuses and blamed the rise in radicalism on campuses. The executive order reveals the administration’s harsh stance against what it perceives to be increasing antisemitic sentiments and extreme views.
