Trump emphasized his intention to use the Alien Enemies Act, a law from 1798, to deport illegal immigrants associated with violent gangs. He highlighted his plan to deploy elite squads from ICE and Border Patrol to arrest and deport gang members like those from Tren de Aragua. According to Trump, “There won’t be a single gang member left in our country.”

He also mentioned imposing an automatic 10-year prison sentence on any deported gang member who re-enters the United States illegally.
