Trump Cracks Down on Tesla Attacks, Threatens Harsh Punishments

US President Donald Trump issued a strong warning against those attacking Tesla and its distribution network. He emphasized that anyone involved in sabotage, including funders, could face up to 20 years in prison. “Anyone caught sabotaging Teslas could go to jail for up to 20 years, including the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Escalating Protests Against Tesla

Recently, Tesla has faced widespread protests across the US. Demonstrators have vandalized Tesla vehicles and even hurled Molotov cocktails at dealerships. These attacks intensified after Elon Musk took charge of the Department of Government Efficiency.

Since then, the department has cut thousands of federal jobs to reduce government spending. As a result, several states and organizations have filed legal challenges.

Attorney General Calls Attacks ‘Domestic Terrorism’

Meanwhile, US Attorney General Pamela Bondi strongly condemned the attacks. She declared them acts of “domestic terrorism” and announced that law enforcement had arrested three individuals linked to arson at Tesla dealerships and charging stations. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars,” Bondi stated. According to the Justice Department, the arrested individuals could face sentences ranging from five to 20 years in prison.

Government Intensifies Crackdown

As the investigation continues, authorities are actively working to track down others involved. Consequently, more arrests may follow as officials take steps to prevent further violence.
