Pregnant Woman Murdered Brutally by In-Laws in Pakistan

In a horrifying incident, a pregnant woman in Pakistan was murdered and dismembered by her in-laws following a family dispute. The victim, Zehra Qadeer, was seven months pregnant at the time of her tragic death.

Father Reveals Shocking Details

Shabbir Ahmed, the victim’s father and a police inspector, accused his daughter’s in-laws of committing the brutal crime. He stated, “My daughter was smothered with a pillow, and her body was chopped into 25 pieces with a sharp-edged knife and a meat cleaver.”

The crime occurred in Kotli Marlan village in Daska, Punjab. Police have registered a case and taken action against the accused.

Body Parts Dumped to Conceal Crime

According to Ahmed, the killers packed Zehra’s dismembered body into bags and dumped them in sewer drains to hide their crime. So far, the police have arrested three suspects: her mother-in-law Sughra Bibi, her sister-in-law Yasmeen, and her nephew Abdullah.

Investigators Uncover Grisly Facts

Authorities confirmed that Zehra, aged 26, was murdered by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. They used knives to sever her limbs and head, aiming to prevent identification. In an attempt to mislead others, the family spread false rumors, claiming Zehra had eloped.

Marriage and Husband’s Absence

Zehra, who hailed from Gurjanwala’s Kot Mand village, married Qadeer of Kotli Marlan in 2020. Her husband, who works abroad, has not yet been reached for questioning.

Community Demands Justice

The police investigation continues, revealing more disturbing details about the case. A senior official stated, “The mother-in-law cut her limbs and severed her head to avoid identification.”

This heinous crime has outraged the local community, who are now demanding swift justice for Zehra and her unborn child.
