PM Modi Concludes Three-Nation Tour, Strengthens Global Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi after completing a five-day diplomatic tour across three nations—Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana. The visit, held from November 16 to 21, focused on enhancing bilateral ties and global cooperation.

1. Nigeria:
PM Modi’s journey began in Nigeria, where he met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss strengthening economic and cultural ties.

2. Brazil and the G20 Summit:
In Brazil, PM Modi participated in the 19th G20 Summit and held 10 key bilateral meetings with leaders from nations including Brazil, Indonesia, Portugal, Italy, and Argentina. Informal interactions with global figures like Ursula von der Leyen (EU), Antonio Guterres (UN), and Tedros Ghebreyesus (WHO) further underlined India’s role in global diplomacy.

3. Guyana:
Concluding the trip, PM Modi’s historic state visit to Guyana reinforced India’s ties with the Caribbean region. He held nine bilateral meetings with leaders from nations such as Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, and Barbados.

Throughout the tour, PM Modi conducted 31 bilateral meetings and numerous informal interactions, emphasizing India’s role as a proactive global partner.
