Nikki Haley Declares Trump “Clearly Better” Choice Than Harris Ahead Of US Election

Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina, openly endorsed Donald Trump as the superior candidate for the upcoming presidential election. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, Haley emphasized her alignment with Trump’s policies over those of Vice President Kamala Harris, particularly on issues of national security, economic strategy, and energy.

Highlighting Trump’s Policy Strengths

In her op-ed, Haley, who served under Trump’s administration, explained that while she doesn’t agree with all of Trump’s decisions, his overall policy approach aligns more with her vision for the nation. She praised Trump’s stances on reducing taxes, curbing inflation, controlling immigration, and boosting American energy independence.

“No politician gets everything right,” Haley wrote. “But on issues that matter the most to me—taxes, spending, energy, and national security—Trump is clearly the better choice.”

Criticism of Harris’s Record

Haley didn’t shy away from criticizing the Biden-Harris administration’s track record, particularly on international matters. She pointed to recent foreign policy challenges, like the situation in Afghanistan and the growing tensions with Iran and China, which she believes were poorly handled.

“The Biden-Harris agenda has made the world far more dangerous,” Haley claimed. “Their approach to Afghanistan, border security, and their passive stance towards China and Iran has emboldened our adversaries.”

Economic & Energy Independence as Key Issues

Haley also highlighted Trump’s economic policies, arguing that his focus on lowering taxes and expanding American energy production are vital for sustaining U.S. independence and growth. She credited Trump’s approach as one that prioritizes the middle class and reduces reliance on foreign energy sources.

A Call to Undecided Voters

In her closing remarks, Haley urged undecided voters to review the candidates’ policy proposals carefully. She emphasized that, despite Trump’s imperfections, his policies better reflect the priorities necessary to strengthen America’s position both domestically and internationally.

With just days before Election Day, Haley’s endorsement reflects the sharp policy divide between Trump and Harris, adding another influential voice to the heated campaign.
