During his visit, PM Modi is staying at the historic Blair House, an opulent 70,000-square-foot guesthouse that has hosted numerous world leaders, presidents, and royalty. Located directly opposite the White House, Blair House holds significant diplomatic importance and has witnessed key global discussions over the years.
Strengthening India-US Ties
PM Modi’s visit to the US comes at the invitation of President Donald Trump, marking his first trip to the country following Trump’s re-election in 2024. The Indian Prime Minister was welcomed at Washington DC airport by India’s Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and other senior officials.
