In the last hours of her term as First Lady, Jill Biden took a private zoo tour, spending time with the National Zoo’s new pandas. Her Facebook and Instagram post video of her visit showed Jill sharing the moment with Hunter Biden’s son, Beau, who exclaimed about the “cute” pandas.

“Let’s see if he will turn and look at us,” Jill says while observing the pandas. “Oh yeah. Awww.” The video, shown with a White House logo on it, was captioned as “First Lady Meets New Pandas.”

While touring, a zoo guide introduced her to Bao Li, a name that in Chinese means “energetic treasure,” and Qing Bao, which also translates to “green mountainous treasure.” That’s cute, right?” Jill asks. Beau replied, “Cute.”

Jill, who promoted the pandas’ coming as part of a “panda diplomacy” initiative between the US and China, has always loved the species. She even dressed up as a panda for Halloween.
