Biden Takes Stand for Son Hunter, Calls Prosecution 'Unfair'

US President Joe Biden on Tuesday called the US and French-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon “good news.”

In a post on X, Biden stated, “Today, I have good news to report from the Middle East. I have spoken to the Prime Ministers of Lebanon and Israel. And I am pleased to announce that they have accepted the United States’ proposal to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.”

Biden stated that the ceasefire would take effect on Wednesday at 4:00 am local time (0200 GMT), as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that his ministers had approved the agreement.
