Donald Trump, sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, did not waste any time implementing sweeping changes. In his first post on Truth Social since taking office, Trump announced the dismissal of four senior officials appointed by former President Joe Biden. He also warned of plans to remove over 1,000 additional appointees to align the federal workforce with his administration’s vision.

In his post, Trump announced, “Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is hard at work identifying and removing more than one thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration who are not part of our movement to Make America Great Again.”

Among them he has mentioned some as follows:

Jose Andres – President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition

Mark Milley – National Infrastructure Advisory Council

Brian Hook – Wilson Center for Scholars

Keisha Lance Bottoms – President’s Export Council

Trump ended his post with his signature phrase, “YOU’RE FIRED!,” referencing his TV days on “The Apprentice.”

Brash Beginnings in the Oval Office of Trump

Earlier on Monday, Trump was sworn in at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., where there was also a sendoff ceremony for ex-President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, who flew off for a vacation in California.

Shortly after his swearing-in, Trump signed executive orders that were aimed at exerting federal workforce control, reversing Biden-era policies, and withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement. All these set the tone for a presidency that intended to deliver on campaign promises from day one.

Government Prepares for More Changes

With the dismissal of the four officials and Trump’s plans to restructure the federal workforce, several government institutions are preparing for further changes in the coming weeks. Trump’s assertive actions signal his intent to reshape the administration swiftly, aligning it with his “America First” agenda.
