Bill Maher’s Bold Response To Trump’s Potential 2024 Win: ‘I’M Not Losing My Cool’

As the 2024 election looms, political commentator and comedian Bill Maher has revealed his plans should Donald Trump reclaim the presidency: “Nothing.” During a discussion with Dr. Phil McGraw, Maher stated that, instead of panicking, he’ll continue his show and joke about Trump every week.

Despite previously predicting Kamala Harris’s victory, Maher has shifted his stance, acknowledging that Harris may face an uphill battle. Still, he remains unshaken by the possibility of a second Trump term.

No Fear, Just Laughs

When asked what he’ll do if Trump returns to the White House, Maher quipped, “Nothing. I’ll go on with my show and make jokes at his expense every week.” The comedian made it clear that while Trump might have wild ideas, he’s not going to let the election result throw him off.

“I’m not losing my nervous system over it,” Maher added, pointing out that Trump didn’t go after his critics during his first term. Though he joked that Trump might send opponents to Guantánamo Bay, Maher doesn’t see the former president’s return as something to stress about.

Trump’s Chances Still in Question

Maher expressed skepticism that Trump will win in 2024, citing voter fatigue and the former president’s unpredictable behavior. Though he acknowledges the race will be tight, Maher remains confident Americans have had enough of Trump.

The comedian’s attitude toward Trump hasn’t softened. While he continues to take aim at the Republican, he insists that stressing over the outcome isn’t worth it. As far as Maher is concerned, the best approach is to keep the laughs coming.

Maher vs. Trump: A Long-Standing Feud

Trump hasn’t stayed quiet either, previously labeling Maher as a “sloppy, befuddled mess” on his HBO show, calling him obsessed with “TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.” The back-and-forth between the two shows no signs of slowing, but Maher remains resolute in his approach—if Trump wins, the jokes won’t stop.

Maher’s bold and calm response to a potential Trump presidency is a reflection of his long-standing confidence, no matter the political climate.
