Bezos Reacts to Musk’s Accusations About Tesla and Trump: ‘100% Not True’

Elon Musk has alleged that Jeff Bezos made remarks that could have harmed Tesla and SpaceX. According to Musk, Bezos advised people to sell shares of the two companies while predicting Donald Trump’s defeat in the U.S. presidential election.

Musk’s Allegation Against Bezos

Elon Musk claimed that Bezos discouraged confidence in Tesla and SpaceX by suggesting Trump’s election loss was certain. “Just learned tonight at Mar-a-Lago that Jeff Bezos was telling everyone that Donald Trump would lose for sure, so they should sell all their Tesla and SpaceX stock,” Musk wrote on X, bringing the issue into the spotlight.

Musk’s Role in Trump’s Campaign

Musk openly supported Donald Trump during his presidential campaign. After Trump’s victory, Musk joined his administration, taking on the role of head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency.

Bezos Denies Musk’s Claims

In response to Musk’s accusations, Jeff Bezos issued a firm denial. Using X, Bezos stated, “Nope. 100% not true,” dismissing Musk’s claims entirely. The post marked a rare appearance by Bezos on the platform, as he had been largely inactive since November, when he congratulated Trump following the election results.

Escalating Rivalry Between Two Billionaires

The dispute adds another layer to the long-standing rivalry between Musk and Bezos. Musk’s allegations and Bezos’s swift denial highlight the tension between the two tech giants, further fueling their contentious relationship.
