Amazon Prime has acquired exclusive global rights to a documentary that promises an “unprecedented behind-the-scenes look” at the life of First Lady Melania Trump. The much-anticipated film, set for theatrical release and global streaming, will offer audiences an intimate insight into her personal and professional journey.

Filming for the upcoming documentary offering a glimpse into Melania Trump’s life began in December 2024. The First Lady will serve as the executive producer of the project alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media, with Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment directing.
Scheduled for release in theatres and on streaming platforms in the second half of 2025, the documentary aims to provide an in-depth look at her life. According to Fox News Digital, more details will be shared by Prime Video as production progresses and the film nears completion.
A spokesperson for Amazon Prime shared their enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.” The announcement comes just weeks ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025.
In addition to the documentary, Melania recently released her first book, Melania, a memoir featuring personal stories and family photographs previously unseen by the public. The book has remained at the top of the New York Times best-seller list since its release. In November, shortly after her husband’s election victory, she also unveiled a digital photography series capturing moments from the 2024 campaign trail and her life at home.
In an interview with Fox News Digital last year, Melania expressed her dedication to children’s well-being, emphasizing her commitment as she prepares to assume the role of First Lady once again. She said, “My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow and thrive.”

Since departing the White House, Melania Trump has entered the realm of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), creating limited-edition pieces to support her Fostering the Future initiative. This program is dedicated to providing scholarships and educational opportunities for children in the foster care system.
As a result of the initiative, several students are now pursuing higher education at colleges and universities across the country, with a particular emphasis on fields like technology and computer science.
