The two were spotted on the jumbotron during Wednesday evening’s concert at Gillette Stadium, covered in each other’s arms before trying to hide their faces as the camera zoomed in.
The exchange was noticed by Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, who stopped to comment on the scene with a wry but biting remark.
“Oh, look at these two. Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” Martin quipped, prompting laughter from the audience.
But what started as a tongue-in-cheek aside soon turned into a viral scandal, with videos of the moment clogging up TikTok, Reddit, and Twitter, where commentators started speculating over the nature of Byron and Cabot’s relationship.

Who Is Kristin Cabot?
Kristin Cabot came aboard at Astronomer—the organization behind Astro, an observability and data orchestration platform built on Apache Airflow—as Chief People Officer in November 2024.
“I prefer to label my role as being in the category of People Strategy,” Cabot replied in a January 13 interview with Techrseries. “That’s when magic comes together—when the people strategy gets lined up with the business strategy and you synchronize the two.”
Up to now, Astronomer Andy Byron has not issued an official statement concerning the incident.
