Is The UK Government Involved In Gaza War Crimes? Independent MP Accuses

Iqbal Mohamed is a UK Independent Alliance party member. He accused the British government of complicity with what he termed “war crimes” committed by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank. Speaking to Anadolu News Agency, Mohamed warned that the UK would face legal consequences for support for Israel’s military actions.

“When these war criminals are brought to justice, I’m afraid the British government will also be indicted for being complicit,” Mohamed stated.

The MP, part of a group that includes former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, strongly condemned the loss of civilian lives in the region. He referred to the situation as genocide, ethnic cleansing, and mass murder, criticizing the UK government for its continued backing of Israel.

“How much more killing should there be before the British government stops its direct and indirect support of Israel committing war crimes?” he asked.

Mohamed called for an immediate cessation of arms support to Israel, including halting the supply of parts used to repair F-35 fighter jets, which he described as “the most common killing machine.”

The MP urged the government to move beyond rhetoric and take concrete action. He criticized the decision to ban only 30 out of 350 arms export licenses, saying that measure was insufficient to address the gravity of the situation.

“What will future generations say about those who supported these atrocities?” Mohamed questioned, appealing for accountability from decision-makers in the UK.
