Biden Approves $1.17 Billion Helicopter Equipment Sale To India

The announcement was made on Monday, with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notifying Congress of the proposed deal.

• 30 Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Joint Tactical Radio Systems (MIDS-JTRS)
• Advanced data transfer systems
• External fuel tanks
• AN/AAS 44C(V) Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) systems
• Operator machine interface assistants
• Spare containers and support equipment

Additionally, the agreement involves facilities design, construction, and support, as well as munitions integration and testing.
