We wish to make J&K real paradise: Saddam Nabi Azad

Saddam Nabi Azad, son of veteran politician Ghulam Nabi Azad who is also
Chairman of Democratic Progressive Azad Party, has expressed his intention to make Jammu and Kashmir a real paradise. While addressing a mammoth rally here, he said that he is not interested in fighting polls to be an MP or an MLA as he does not have any liking for these positions.
Saddam expressed his concern for the children of Jammu and Kashmir. During the event he said, ”A lot has happened to the children and people of Jammu and Kashmir and I have not come here to become an MP or MLA. There are so many leaders who talk a lot and give empty speeches but what people of Jammu and Kashmir want is the change.”
Saddam shared his intention to work with all PK workers and Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahib to make Jammu and Kashmir a paradise in true sense. He said, “Jammu and Kashmir is believed to be a paradise in books, but we have to make it a real paradise again where people would be truly happy and have daily bread.”
Saddam Azad said that he believes that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir know more about politics than anywhere in India as Bihar or UP. The time for misleading and empty speeches has absolutely gone now.
He further added that he noticed a sense of hopelessness on people’s faces. They need to overcome this despondency, and the only way to do so is to work hard and people must have faith that the state can transform.
When Saddam Nabi Azad was asked whether he would join the politics in the election. He shared that he is not interested in contesting elections. Instead he is interested in working for the people.
When again he was asked for giving message for the people of Banihal and local leaders who are supporting him in the rally, he added in his response, “All of them are my brothers and far more experienced than me, our relationship is symbiotic also and every DPAP member is committed to become more hard working leader who is devoted for the welfare of the country than they speak.
When questioned about his rally experience, he shared, “It is a wonderful rally. All the supporters travelled from far flung areas. I have just joined politics. In this way, I am a novice myself but I feel the only way we get strength from these people.”
