JP Nadda Criticizes Congress, Questions Rahul, Sonia Gandhi’s Silence on Cash Recoveries from MP Dheeraj Sahu

The National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a scathing attack on the Congress over the cash recovered from Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu during IT raids. JP Nadda, who led a major protest at the Gandhi statue in Parliament, accused the Congress of being synonymous with corruption.

Nadda stated, “Congress and corruption are two sides of the same coin. Congress is known for malpractice and criminalization. This is the policy of Congress. Money is being withdrawn from Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s accounts; the cash is black money, possibly the money of the poor. This is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Asserting PM Modi’s stance on corruption, Nadda highlighted that no corrupt individual will be spared. He criticized the Congress, labeling it a party entrenched in corruption, and challenged Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi to address the issue.

Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Javdekar revealed that a staggering Rs 354 crore cash was recovered from Dheeraj Sahu’s residence, questioning how such an enormous sum was found. He accused Sahu of being an ATM for Congress, allegedly involved in the liquor business, and exploiting the poor.

MoS MEA V Muraleedharan criticized the Congress for the substantial cash recovery at a time when the nation is shifting towards digital payments.

The BJP staged a protest at Parliament led by JP Nadda, wielding banners reading “C for Congress and C for Corruption.” MPs demanded answers from Rahul Gandhi and targeted the Congress, chanting slogans highlighting the party’s alleged association with corruption.

Meanwhile, as the Income Tax raids concluded, the recovered cash, reportedly exceeding Rs 300 crore, will be deposited following official procedures at the SBI main branch in Balangir, Odisha. Simultaneously, the IT department continues its survey at properties connected to Dheeraj Sahu in Balangir and Jharkhand, with ongoing documentation processes.
