Javed Akhtar Answers Back Trolls Who Called Him ‘Son of a Gaddar’

Famous Bollywood screenwriter, lyricist, and poet Javed Akhtar, who is known for his outspoken views on major issues, has recently answered the trolls, who called him a ‘Son of Gaddar.’

Taking to X Javed Akhtar said, ‘I am a proud Indian citizen and till my last breath I will remain so, but I have one common fact with Joe Biden. Both of us have exactly equal chance of becoming the next president of USA.’

Additionally, he sarcastically commented on Joe Biden in context with upcoming US election.

He also answered back the post which accused Akhtar’s father of playing a crucial role in the partition of India. Thus, accusing Akhtar’s family of being against India.

Taking to X Vivek Sharma responding to his post said, ‘Your father was instrumental in making Pakistan in order to have a nation just for Muslims, then in the guise of progressive writer he chose to remain in India. You are a son of Gaddar who divided our nation on d lines of religion. Now u say anything but this is the truth.’

Later while answering back the post, Akhtar talked about his family contribution in India’s freedom movement. He also angrily revealed that his family member even went to jail for the country’s independence.

While talking about his family legacy he said, ‘It is difficult to decide whether you are totally ignorant or a complete idiot. From 1857 my family has been involved with freedom movement n has gone to jails and Kala paani when most probably your baap dadas were licking the boots of Angrez Sarkar.’
