Haryana Govt sanctions Rs 900 Cr for Rural Chaupals: Nayab Singh Saini

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the government has allocated Rs 900 crore for the construction of Chaupals in rural areas across the state. This fund will soon be transferred to the accounts of the Gram Panchayats. Saini highlighted the government’s significant progress in rural development over the past decade, ensuring that villagers now have access to basic facilities on par with those in cities. He also emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for rapid, inclusive development across the country, ensuring no village is left behind.

Addressing a gathering in Ratangarh, Sindhuria Palace, and Saini Dharamshala in Karnal, Chief Minister Saini also announced various development projects worth lakhs of rupees. He stated that the BJP government, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and now in its third term, will present the budget tomorrow, focusing on public welfare to enhance happiness and prosperity nationwide. He noted the need to accelerate village development, pointing out that the government continuously implements schemes benefiting the populace directly.

Additionally, the Chief Minister announced a waiver of the electricity surcharge for families with connections up to two kilowatts, meaning future bills will reflect only the units consumed, benefiting many families across the state.
